History of spence

Growth and connections

Founded in 2014 and incorporated in 2015, Spence Club is named after iconic South Australian suffragist Catherine Helen Spence. We're all about celebrating and supporting women professionals through a series of premium networking events, coupled with a thoughtful array of online content.

We celebrate and support professional women whilst raising funds for our incredible charity partner along the way.

SPENCE CLUB FOUNDER

Lauren Zwaans

Lauren Zwaans is a marketing, operations and business strategy leader with global experience spanning Government, nonprofits, and the corporate sector, including big tech. She recently returned to Adelaide from the US and joined luxury building company, Craig Linke Bespoke Building, as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Lauren was based in San Francisco, working at Meta (formerly Facebook), where she led cross-functional teams, including a pod of growth marketers and analysts to develop scaled marketing campaigns.
